Mount Tamborine Rain Forest Gold Coast

Location: Witches Falls Circuit - Tamborine Mountain - Gold Coast Australia

We had a nice thunder storm on Friday night and I immediately thought of Cedar Creek Falls and Witches Falls. I went down on Sunday to see if the heavy rain had an impact on the water level of the Falls and creeks.

On the way down the bush trail I noticed several houses backing onto the trail. I noticed these properties last time I was here and did not shoot any photos. This time I included a few shots of the back fences of these properties that back onto the park.

It takes me about half an hour to drive to the top of Mt Tamborine from my place. I feel lucky enough to be only a short drive from here but here is some people that actually live here. As I admired these properties, I was wandering what it would be like to live this close to the sounds, smells and sights of nature.

The rain had little impact on Witches Falls so I did not shoot photos of the cliff face again. When the water rises I'll take some shots and post them here at this site.

Here is some properties that back onto Mount Tamborine national park. I only shot pictures of the back fence - not the houses - in order to preserve the privacy of the owners. Click on the photos to enlarge them. Photos taken with Sony Mavica FD73.
