How To Remove Your Webpages From The Google Cache

If you want to remove your webpages from the Google Cache, simply add the following Meta Tag into your HTML:

<META content="noarchive" NAME="robots">

This is the code we use on our webpages but are currently checking out others because although the cache link is removed, the page description on the search results page remains outdated.

This was not always the case. It seems that this only started happening recently. So it is unclear which page is actually getting ranked.

There are variations of this tag getting around.

<META content="no-archive" NAME="robots"> and

<META content="no archive" NAME="robots">

Make sure you place this tag after the title tag in your document.
