Since I purchased Rankings Revealed in the year of 2003, this site has gone through some dramatic changes.

The site had bugger-all visitors, no link popularity and little or no useful content.

Today that's a different story and it's all as a result of reading the SEO book Rankings Revealed? Is Rankings Revealed responsible for my higher search engine rankings?

The answer is no. The book in and of itself is not responsible for any search engine success this site has. The reason for the success is taking action on the information contained in the book.

You see, the book does not do any of the stuff. The book only supplies the information.

Many people buy books, courses, go to seminars and learn some really good stuff. The problem is that they do not apply what they learn. They lack the most important ingredient. ACTION!

Rankings Revealed is Not Black Hat SEO

If you are looking for a way to create web-spam, doorway pages or sneaky redirects, the information is not for you. However, if you are looking for a way to establish a long term presence on the Internet, the information (when applied) can quench your SEO thirst.

If you have a one page mini site selling eBooks or software resale rights, Rankings Revealed will not help you. You must be willing to add more content to your site in order to compliment what you already have.

This is not about adding some secret meta tag and presto, you are ranked number one for a highly competitive search term or phrase. This is not about adding invisible text or keyword stuffing. Nor is it about exchanging links with bad neighborhoods or creating crap doorway pages some people call quality content.

On the other hand, it's not rocket science either. Rankings Revealed is an overall game plan. It is like learning to ride a bike. Once you know it, you cannot forget it.

In fact, I wish I purchased the book before I made my first web site. But who would do that? Most people get online with their first web site thinking that every man and her dog will flock to it with credit card in hand. Yea right. It is like going to the dentist. Not many people go to the dentist unless they know something is wrong.

But all was not lost. I had only built a few pages when I purchased the book. It did not take me long to take action on the information and transform the site into what it is today - An ongoing process of creation.

Get this. My front page hardly gets any search engine visitors. But, this site gets thousands of unique visitors each week. You see, I have discovered how to make every page an entry page.

Should You Buy Rankings Revealed?

That is totally up to you. You might have the need to go around wasting a lot of time on the Internet (like I did) before the penny finally drops. You might have the need to go and search for SEO information and slowly piece it together through trial and error. On the other hand, you might "ready" to take action. You might want to ability to perform "natural" SEO. You might be already sick of wasting time.
